About Dr. Rodolfo Gari
Dr. Rodolfo Gari’s professional career began in the healthcare industry. Dr. Gari’s extensive experience in the healthcare industry started in 1996 when he founded the Tampa Pain Relief Center. A few years later, Dr. Gari founded Anesthesiology Professional Services, an outpatient anesthesia service provider, followed by Surgery Partners, an ambulatory surgery center. Dr. Gari’s healthcare entrepreneurship ventures merged into a single company, enabling him to expand to multiple locations throughout Florida. In 2009, Dr. Gari successfully sold Surgery Partners Holdings and its affiliates to H.I.G. Capital. This success in the healthcare industry motivated Dr. Gari to venture into the business world.
Since 2009, Dr. Rodolfo Gari has founded several successful businesses. In 2010 he founded Gari Capital, where he still acts as C.E.O. As the President and Chief Executive Officer of Gari Enterprises Investments, Dr. Gari manages investments and assets for the Gari Family Office. In 2019, he founded Business Integrity Services (BIS), a healthcare service provider that revolutionized the industry by providing efficient and reliable services.
Unsurprisingly, Dr. Gari has an impressive educational background. He graduated cum laude from the University of South Florida in Tampa with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. Following this, Dr. Gari earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 1985. This education was followed by an internship in internal medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center and a residency in anesthesiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
After ten years working in the healthcare industry, Dr. Gari returned to school to pursue a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Florida College of Business. His specialty was in finance and entrepreneurship. Dr. Gari graduated at the top of his class and belonged to Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society.
Dr. Rodolfo Gari cares deeply about his community. As such, he is an active philanthropist, giving back to his community whenever possible. He supports several charitable organizations, including The Children’s Home, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Berkley Preparatory School, and various Catholic charities. The Children’s Home is an organization that helps children who have suffered abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Dr. Gari is proud to help financially support these organizations through his donations. Additionally, Dr. Gari volunteers for several organizations, especially Habitat for Humanity International and Metropolitan Ministries.
When not working or supporting nonprofit organizations, Dr. Gari enjoys participating in physical activities such as football, basketball, bicycling, jogging, and weight training. He also enjoys entering fishing tournaments hosted by the local Big Game Fishing Club.
